Tea bushes of Gyokuro are carefully grown in the shade for about three weeks prior to harvesting in order to protect from sunlight. In so doing, tea leaves absorb more nutrition from the fertile soil. Gyokuro has a rich green color, a distinguished aroma and a sweet taste.

Matcha

Matcha powder green tea is famed for the Tea Ceremony. Tea bushes of Match are carefully grown under the shade for about one month prior to harvesting in order to protect them from sunlight. This brings out an extraordinarily sweet taste with no bitterness. The manufactured leafs are then ground like flour to produce a fine green powder. Matcha has a wonderful aroma, silky froth, and rich mellow taste.
